​1-4 June – Wacky Wine Weekend - Robertson Wine Valley

The Robertson Wine Valley’s fourteenth annual Wacky Wine Weekend showcases more than 40 wine and tourism vendors in this popular family-friendly event. Warm up with your loved ones and enjoy award-winning wines, live music, outdoor sports, arts & craft stalls, with delectable food options and other exciting activities. 1 – 11 June - SA International Documentary Festival

Get your fill of local and international documentary films at the 19th Encounters South African International Documentary Festival this June. Opening night features Aliki Sargas’ Strike a Rock, with no fewer than 32 South African films and many other topical and interesting documentaries to follow. 2 - 4 June – Good Food and Wine Show

This year’s Good Food and Wine Show features two celebrity chefs who are sure to dazzle; the world’s first celebrity chef Marco Pierre White and South Africa’s first Michelin-starred chef Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen. In addition to secret recipes and foodie trend updates from several fabulous chefs, this toothsome event also boasts showstoppers like the biggest elephant cake in the world. 3 & 4 June – Mushroom Foraging Weekend at Boschendal

Boschendal wine estate hosts an educational and entertaining weekend of forest exploration this June. Get lost in the magic of the hunt as avid mushroom hunter Justin Williams leads an exciting and educational mushroom forage. Make a weekend of it and take advantage of a special package deal, which includes a mushroom workshop, guided forage, overnight accommodation, dinner, breakfast and lunch. ​8 June - Food and Wine Experiences at La Petite Ferme

La Petite Ferme’s Wine & Food Experience is an exclusive event where one can indulge in sublime culinary creations paired with local and international wines in the stunning Franschhoek wine valley.
