The restaurant's menu features a variety of dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, as well as an extensive wine list showcasing some of the best wines from the local region. The restaurant's cozy and inviting atmosphere, coupled with its warm and attentive service, makes it the perfect spot for a romantic date or a special night out with friends. The Wine Glass also offers private wine tastings and events, making it a great choice for those looking to experience the a large selection of the best wines from the region all in one place. WHAT WE LOVE: A truly extensive wine selection from the region available by the glass and bottle. Tasty tapas style food! Trendy environment. 3. Creation WinesCreation Wine Farm, located in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley offers an unforgettable wine and culinary experience. The restaurant at Creation Wine Farm is known for its innovative, seasonal menu, featuring locally sourced ingredients and paired perfectly with the estate's award-winning wines. Diners can choose from a range of dishes, including fresh seafood, grilled meats, and vegetarian options, all of which are expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The calamari was amazing and their kiddies play area is super convenient for those dining with children. 5. Bientang's CaveBientang's Cave is a unique seafood restaurant located in a cave on the shores of Walker Bay in Hermanus, South Africa. The restaurant offers a wide range of fresh seafood dishes, including prawns, calamari, and fish of the day, all of which are expertly prepared and served in a stunning setting with breathtaking ocean views. Bientang's Cave also offers an extensive wine list featuring some of the best wines from the region. Char'd Grill & Wine BarChar'd Grill & Wine Bar is a unique restaurant located in the Village Square of Hermanus' waterfront. Known for its innovative approach to steaks, the restaurant offers a variety of unusual and classic cuts of beef. With the use of artisan butchers who utilize the entire carcass of the animal, Char'd is at the forefront of the modern global trend of incorporating alternative cuts of meat into their menu. WHAT WE LOVE: Trendy, yummy breakfasts and good coffee! This is our go to breakfast spot in Hermanus. 8. Ficks RestaurantWhat sets Ficks Restaurant apart is its breathtaking location. Perched on the water's edge at the newly refurbished Ficks Tidal Pools, the restaurant boasts unparalleled views of the sparkling ocean, and diners can enjoy their meals while watching whales frolic in the bay during whale season. Ficks Restaurant is located just across the road from our managed luxury holiday apartments "17 Marine Hermanus". Our guests enjoy Ficks for a refreshing ocean dip in the tidal pool, enjoying sundownsers with an exceptional view or a bite to eat. 9. Theo's Taverna - Greek RestaurantThis is a lovely, new Greek restaurant in the heart of Hermanus. If you're into Greek food, this is a great spot.
