Tintswalo Atlantic
A phoenix has risen from the ashes. Tintswalo Atlantic was caught in the bush fires that spread through Cape Town last year. But the passionate owners and team at the lodge all pulled together and pulled off an amazing feat of having the hotel rebuilt, refurbished and opened again within six and a half months. As Ryno said to us "It's a great pleasure, you don't often get to open the same hotel twice." With only 10 suites and one Presidential suite, intimacy and personal service is the order of the day. It is also an extremely romantic setting, where proposals and weddings are common place.
Sitting firmly on the shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean between Hout Bay and Cape Town, the views from the deck in your room, the small private beach or the lovely pool area are stunning. Located on Chapman’s Peak Drive, which forms part of the Table Mountain National Park – one of South Africa’s eight World Heritage Sites, it is a must for any traveller’s itinerary.
Visitors to Tintswalo Atlantic can expect exclusive accommodation in a breath-taking setting, 5-star fine dining, warm, family-style hospitality and a host of unexpected pleasures. Whether you choose Tintswalo for the initial break of your holiday or as the final wind down destination on your trip, it will certainly be unforgettable.
Tintswalo is featured on our blog, as our Luxury Hotel of the Month for January 2016, read all about out blissful stay here. If you would like to keep up to date with all of our other blogs, and find out what else is happening in the Western Cape, sign up to our newsletter below.
