The Victoria & Alfred Hotel

It’s the precise details that gives the Victoria & Alfred Hotel its elegance, intimacy, romance and reputation… the wooden staircase, the telescope, flowers and the service… friendly and efficient yet never intrusive.
Then there are the bedrooms – 94 spacious, air-conditioned, en-suite rooms spread over three floors. Our superior luxury double rooms boast separate bath, shower and toilet, king-sized beds and are creatively styled and well-appointed. All have coffee and tea making facilities, with private bar, electronic safe, wireless internet and trouser press… every room has either a view over the ever-awake Alfred Basin or Piazza. Truly unbeatable!
This landmark hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and offers spectacular views of the working harbour and Table Mountain. Walk in the utmost safety to some of the finest retail outlets from designer stores to restaurants, craft markets, cinemas, boat cruises to Robben Island and entertainment in the amphitheatre.
Hotel V&A’s OYO Restaurant serves rich breakfast and fine cuisine on a quayside terrace with harbour views. It specialises in seafood and cocktails, and on special nights guests can enjoy live music performances.
The surrounding area provides ample shopping and entertainment opportunities, from craft markets and to cinemas and amphitheatres. The Robben Island ferry departs from beside the hotel.
Guests can make use of the hotel's pool, which is located across the street. Victoria & Alfred Hotel provides 24-hour security, and Wi-Fi and car parking are both free of charge.

The special gift from BACK IN TOWN when booking a minimum three night stay with us is
Two return adult tickets for the Table Mountain Cableway
