PROPERTY DESCRIPTION & DETAILS
MASTER BEDROOM
The Master bedroom has direct access into the open-planned living area and kitchen. Separated by sliding shutter-doors that guests can close for privacy. There is a large King bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.
2nd BEDROOM
The second bedroom is accessed directly from the long passage entrance and also has an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet only (no bath).
3rd BEDROOM
Although this bedroom is linked to the rest of the apartment, it does also have its own private entrance. It is essentially set-up as a studio apartment, en-suite with shower & toilet. The bed can either be made up as a King, or 2 x singles (extra linen cost) upon request.
There is a small kitchenette in this bedroom and a private balcony with built-in braai (BBQ) and mountain views.
KITCHEN
Fully equipped with high-spec finishings.
Smeg Gas stove-top and electric oven. Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge as expected.
DINING
There is an inside dining table that seats 6 guests comfortably and outdoor dining table on the back balcony as well, seating 6 guests.
BALCONIES
There is 1 x Sea-Facing balcony which is off from the main living room. There is outdoor seating here for 4 guests and a small coffee table.
There is also a mountain-facing balcony which has the built-in braai (BBQ). This is accessed from the 3rd bedroom, or 2nd entrance if guests don't want to walk through the 'studio' (3rd Bedroom).
TV & WIFI
There is a SMART TV in the living room and 3rd bedroom (Studio).
Free Fibre Wifi and Netflix is included.
No DSTV/Cable TV
SERVICING
Please note this is a self-catering apartment. Servicing can be arranged upon request at an additional fee.
*There are no laundry facilities for guests on-site. However, we work with a local laundromat who can collect & deliver guest's laundry as required.
PARKING
There is designated, secure, off-street parking available for 2 cars. Additional parking can be arranged if needed, please just ask.
ACCESSIBILITY
This apartment is on the 1st floor and can be accessed by a lift and stairs.
*The lift does not work during Loadshedding
CHECK-IN
Check-in is between 3pm-7pm.
(we do our best to accommodate requests for early arrivals, subject to availability)
Arrivals between 7pm-8pm can be arranged prior to booking, subject to availability of your host only and will incur an additional fee of R300
CHECK-OUT
Our standard check-out time is 10am.
Late departures up until 12pm (midday) can be arranged, subject to availability.
Departures between 12pm - 3pm can be arranged at a rate of 50% of the nightly rate.
Departures after 3pm will be charged at the full nightly rate.
PETS
Please note that although we are animal lovers, the body corporate do not unfortunately allow pets at this property.
LOADSHEDDING
*Inverter Installed - 14 June 2023
This is the term used when power is cut to a specific geographical location of the country in order to reduce pressure on the national electricity grid. South Africa is currently experiencing increased loadshedding and it is likely that all travellers will experience this during their trip.
- Inverter powers all lights, Wifi, TV and some plug points
- Gas stove-top for cooking (as well as built-in BBQ/Braai)
- There is an indoor fireplace for warmth during the colder months.
*The building's lift and some appliances such as microwave, dishwasher etc will be out of order during Loadshedding.
*We generally don't allow arrivals on Saturdays or Sundays, however, we are happy to consider arrivals on the weekend for extended stays. Please reach out to us if you'd like to check in on the weekend.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
We have been informed that there will be construction taking place on the building next door from Sep 2023 Mon-Fri (8am-5pm) and Saturdays until 1pm. From Oct 2023 noise should be low. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause our guests.
