Located in a prime position on Cape Towns Atlantic Seaboard with unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Ellerman House has a total of 13 exceptional rooms and 2 private luxury villas. The accommodation is not the only incredible feature however, South African design, flavour and hospitality are prevalent throughout. Namely, a contemporary South African art gallery is viewable only to guests staying at Ellerman House. A wine cellar with an extraordinary centre piece in the 'Corkscrew' displays the vast collection of wines, with the waiter happy to do guided tastings and educational lessons. If you don't have time for a full lesson, then take a look at the 'Terrior Wall' which shows the vastly changing landscape of the Cape Winelands. It doesn't stop there however, with a champagne cellar underground, filled with the finest French champagnes, enclosed within imported French chalk walls. If wines are not your specialty, then there are various Brandy's on display in the Brandy room within the hotel. Artwork is on display everywhere you turn and as soon as you enter Ellerman House the walls are adorned with landscapes and portraits alike.
Food and Hospitality are in ample supply daily, with large friendly smiles and attentive staff who are always there to help with anything, large or small. The chefs produce outstanding cuisine using their South African flair, and produce delectable snacks throughout the day, which are available to all guests in, what we like to call, the 'Cheat Room'.
Ellerman House is the choice of A-list celebrities and travellers wishing to experience the best that the Mother City has to offer.
