Full Day Safari - 2 hours from Cape Town

PRICE: R1990 per person. (Jan - Oct 2020)
Arrive at the reserve at 9am, breakfast, then the 2 to 3 hour safari.
Followed by lunch and time at leisure to explore the rest of the facilities.


The program includes a welcome drink, a scrumptious buffet breakfast, 2 to 3 hour game drive led by an experienced guide who will share exciting inside stories: facts about your surroundings, easily rousing your inner wild side, then a leisurely lunch, after which you may choose to add on a spa treatment, horseback or quad bike safari.

ITINERARY
  • 06h45: Depart Cape Town (the drive to the reserve takes roughly 2 hours)
  • 09h00: Welcome drink served on arrival
  • 09h15: Continental Breakfast
  • 10h15: Game drive
  • 12h45: Buffet lunch
  • After lunch, time at leisure.
Duration of game drive and departure times are approximate and dependent on the interaction of the guests with the ranger and the sighting of animals.

*Add on transfer from Cape Town at R940 per person.

​Buffet breakfast with juice, coffee & a selection of teas, buffet lunch, 2 to 3 hour game drive with a juice or water, use of Pool, Lounge Bar, Labyrinth, Giant Chess access to Curio shop.

Excludes: Refreshments other than mentioned, Items of a personal nature, curio shop purchases, horseback safari, quadbike safari, access to Spa Facilities and treatments.

Half Day - Afternoon Safari

PRICE: R1550 per person (Jan - Oct 2020)
The 2 to 3 hour safari departs at 13:30. The safari is led by an experienced guide who will share exciting inside stories and facts about your surroundings, easily rousing your inner wild side.


The Cape Town safari day tour includes a lunch and a 2 to 3 hour game drive.

All safaris are conducted in open safari vehicles.

Afternoon Safari Day Tour
10h00: Depart Cape Town - (scheduled transfers do pick-ups from pre specified hotels starting from around 09h00)
12h00: Welcome drink served on arrival
12h15: Buffet Lunch
13h30: Game drive
After the game drive guests are able to relax at the pool and are welcome to browse the African curio shop or indulge in a Spa treatment (optional extra).
16h00: Depart – schedule transfers departure at 16h00 from the reserve. Should you wish to depart earlier or later than this, please book a private transfer.

Horseback Safari

PRICE: R2440 per person (Jan - Oct 2020)
This day trip safari requires that you arrive at Aquila at 9 am in the morning. You can choose to drive yourself to the reserve or, hop onto one of the schedule departure transfers leaving from Cape Town hotels between 6am and 7am in the morning. (Be sure to book this transfer beforehand).


ITINERARY
06h45: Depart Cape Town 

09h00: Welcome drink served on arrival
09h15: Buffet Breakfast
10h00: Horseback Safari – you may chose to have this time at leisure and adventure out on the horseback safari at 14h00 (subject to availability) please discuss your itinerary preferences with your booking agent.
12h45: Buffet lunch

After lunch, time at leisure:

Overnight Safari

PRICES: From just R2230 per person sharing in 2020.
The overnight safari doesn’t spare on spoiling our guests. Welcome cocktails are served on arrival, either outside, around the pool, or in front of a log fire in the cigar bar. The overnight safari boasts an early morning safari as well as a late afternoon safari with an Aquila Game Reserve specialist and 3 meals daily.

There are a variety of accommodation options at this 4 star lodge, to suit every taste and budget.
